Falcon Autumn 2011

From September 26th till October 7th, 2011 exercise Falcon Autumn is held. Around 2500 people, 300 vehicles and 15 assault and transport helicopters take part. The organisation is in the hands of 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade (11 AMB).

Most spectacular part of Falcon Autumn 2011 is the attack on TT-Circuit Assen, a race track in the North of The Netherlands. In four waves about 180 personnel and several vehicles and supplies were flown in with CH-47D Chinook and AS532 Cougar helicopters. All day long the race track was covered by AH-64D Apache helicopters.

Para drops were made from a C-130H-30 Hercules of 336 squadron.
